LIBRA (October 2, 2013)

In the blacklit heavens

–they say–

There are scales that measure and weigh

Us below

–tidal–

They feel the weight of lead and elevate

   gold

Stargazers see gods and hunters,

And horses and bears,

Faint outlines of Justice

And the dimples on her die

When they see the night sky

–But really–

It’s all just stars
